So much for Democratized Travel. I’m actually tired of cheap air fares. Yawn, easy long distance travel via planes needs to be a thing of the past and I’ll tell you why. Costs and Convenience.
I like convenient air travel, convenient, unhurried, non-volume based air travel.
Air Travel (even as late as the early 90s) was...

Let's Revalue Long Distance Travel
On Vox: Extended Trip Report and Sage Advice
First some advice
A Boss leads by fear, intimidation and reward. A Leader just has to ask their team to follow their example.
So, I don’t think I’ve committed to paper(?) the whole trip from the US to Canada, at least not all at once.
On Wednesday the 22nd we unloaded the house for six hours and...

Three State Drive!
We drove from Nebraska to Illinois today.
I wish I had more to say about the drive but I left my brain and stomach somewhere in Iowa! There were about a million hills between Lincoln and Ottawa, Illinois. This made the drive seem to go on forever, it wasn’t until I put on an audiobook...

NOTE FROM THE FUTURE: Idaho smelled of Onions and open Sewers in the Built up areas

Holy Crap, we nearly rolled!
The drive went well today, until mile 420 or so, with 70 miles to go.
We were driving downhill on slick graded roads when the back end started sliding out. Crap!
No matter what we did, wobble wobble, I thought that we might have a flat, so I pulled over and while cars and trucks...

Hot Drink?
It was damned hot in Kincardine while we visited. I spent most days with a sopping wet head and a t-shirt to match. It was so hot that I chose not to try on a new shirt for a wedding… I didn’t want to ruin the shirt for someone else.
It was really nice holiday...
