So there you have it. The number of new jobs WEDC can credibly document is not 250,000; it is not 50,000; it is not 37,000. Walker’s official jobs database can document only 5,840 “actual” jobs reported to be created by firms for FY 2012 and FY 2013. Note that these are jobs created through the efforts of WEDC, and the numbers are separate from the state’s job numbers reported monthly and quarterly by the federal government.

How many Jobs has decimating the Unions and Killing the Labor movement created in Wisconson…. it’s a lot less than 50,000 Tories take note. These policies are full of failure

Yes, I think we should be independent. What have we got to lose? A Tory government? I’m looking forward to the vote just because it will be a novelty for Scottish people to fill in official forms while still in possession of their own belt and shoelaces. And imagine what Scotland’s annual Independence Day celebrations will look like; the fucking D-Day Landings.

Toronto desperately needs change at City Hall. Spending has increased 43% since outgoing mayor David Miller took office — salaries and benefits by 47%. Over that same time, revenue from user fees and permits rose nearly 30% and property tax revenue by nearly a quarter — far outstripping the city’s population growth. The city has anywhere from 15% to 25% more employees than it did in 1998, depending on whose numbers you go by, and very little to show for it. All candidates in this campaign agree the city faces a $503-million budget shortfall for 2011.

Not long after victory was declared for the Liberals, PC Leader Tim Hudak announced that he would resign his post and would not lead the party into the next election.

This may be the best thing to come out of this very expensive lesson for the Tories and the NDP
