Woe is Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia, who bemoaned in a closed-door meeting this morning that he’s “stuck” making a paltry $172,000 a year in Congress. Never mind that this is more than three times the national average income, or that Gingrey is worth $3 million. Meanwhile, he’s running for Senate, where can only expect a $2,000 raise.
PhoenixAmaya – They used to have signs that said “Honk For Peace” and the businesses around them got pissed at all the honking. They changed the signs but people still drive by and flip them off, honk but say “Fuck you!”, etc. IMO I think some people just don’t like them because people classify them as hippies.
My Nephew Mark has run away from home; he’s almost an adult so really no one can force him to do anything; but he has stopped talking to his Mum and Granny. They are both very upset and want to hear from him ASAP that he is alright (they want to hear it from him; not email or from some other person)
