However, a check by CNN of traveling family members on UK Electoral Roll shows an email address associated with 18-year-old Hamza Mahmoud that links to a suspicious Facebook page.

The page appears to belong to a Birmingham resident with a similar name, whose occupation is listed as Supervisor at Taliban and Leader at al-Qaeda.

When asked by reporters about the Facebook link, the family said the email listed on the electoral roll is incorrect, missing some characters, and that the son lives in London, not Birmingham.

Tariq Mahmoud confirmed his son Hamza was part of the trip, and he told CNN the family had no knowledge of the Facebook page until asked about it by a reporter.

If you or someone with your name states on Facebook that they are a terrorist, prepare for some travel troubles….?

A cache of texts between the officers was uncovered as part of a 2014 federal corruption investigation into SFPD Sgt. Ian Furminger, who was found guilty of taking money from drug dealers for his own personal use. The messages, some of which are collected here, show Furminger and other cops enthusing about burning crosses, disparaging the intelligence of black officers, and remarking that “niggers should be spayed.”

It’s strange that such a chauvinist monster like me has been asked to speak to women scientists. Let me tell you about my trouble with girls. “White Tears” is phrase to describe what happens when certain types of White people either complain about a nonexistent racial injustice or are upset by a non-White person’s success at the expense of a White person. It encompasses (and makes fun of) the performative struggle to acknowledge the existence of White privilege, and the reality that it aint always gonna go unchecked.

How is this not just straight racism? If the situation was “Green Tears” or “Chartruse Tears” and then the person said “only a certain kind of person who has Polka-Dotted skin, we’d rightly call them a racist…. GAH!
