Wikileaks posts a classified US military video (17:47) to YouTube. It depicts “the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad – including two Reuters news staff.” Supporting documents from military whistleblowers appear at the site they set up, Collateral Murder.

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and felt, and was glittering with gold, semi-precious beads, and gem-colored rhinestones. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with pipe cleaners and white glue. This title was written on her forehead:

Sean Hannity recently referred to a group of Tea Party activists as “Tim McVeigh wannabes.”
I’ve seen a few on DU claim Hannity was being sarcastic because Tea Party activists are being
referred by the left as “Teahadists.” If indeed it was an inside joke among the right wing,
why didn’t the crowd laugh at such an absurd comparison, and instead applauded with approval?

Authorities were trying to determine Friday how an 8-year-old boy obtained a loaded handgun that was found in his backpack by school police after he made threats toward a classmate.

The third-grader at Sharp-Leadenhall Elementary School, a small Baltimore City school for special-needs children, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged as a juvenile with handgun possession. School officials said the boy was “acting suspiciously” and staff began closely monitoring his behavior, which led to a search of his backpack and the discovery of a .380-caliber handgun.

The family’s 7-year-old boy, who was intentionally unvaccinated against measles, was exposed to the virus while traveling in Europe. When he returned home to San Diego, he unknowingly exposed a total of 839 people, and an additional 11 unvaccinated children contracted the disease. Three of those infected were babies, too young to have yet received the measles vaccines, and one of the babies was hospitalized for three days with a 106-degree fever, according to a report to be published in the April issue of Pediatrics.

I see that another DUer got one of Palin’s pathetic punks shouting at them. Me, too. I was hoping I’d be the first! This also happened at a traffic light – the guy pulled up behind me, hit his horn, swung into my lane as I was the only one at the light at the time, and rolled down his window.

“Hey asshole! How’s that hopey-changey thing working out for you?”

“It’s working great! I paid less in taxes this year. How about you?”

(double take)

“Yeah, you paid less, too, didn’t you? Come on, you can admit it! I can tell! Guess hopey-changey worked for you, too, didn’t it?”

(snarl)

Light turned green and he TOOK OFF. I laughed the whole way home.
