The USA isn’t rich because of mineral wealth, or recent productivity or even luck. It’s rich off slavery during a period where the rest of the world had MOSTLY abandoned slave labour, then it MOSTLY sat on its hands for 2 world wars that bankrupted Europe. #MayDay2020
