New Laptop Blues
I went out and traded my older MP3 player for a panasonic toughtbook, thinking that it’s lack of a CDROM wouldn’t be an issue since I have a nice external DVD burner (USB)
Oh well, no love there. Ben says he might be able to help with a drive adaptor so that I can set up a base operating system… I hope it works out!
Worried and Concerned
My Sister-in-Law told us earlier that she would have a lodger for the summer, a “troubled kid” which we cautioned her against. It’s been a couple weeks since we heard from her so I tried giving her a call, late so we’d be sure she was home. No Luck.

Excellent, it’s Tuesday. That means I get my House Fix! Apparently they are bringing Bones back too, I’m not the bigget fan of Bones, but that whole eppy about the Bears and Cannibals was great!.
It’s too bad that House is on Fox, more money for Murdoch, but i guess Fox is the only network besides USA that would have had it.

What’s your cell phone’s ringtone? What made you pick it?
Right now it is a generic “real” ring, but I tend to use custom ring tones that I make on my PC.
For my Family I use “The Welly Boot Song - Billy Connolly”
For Friends I use “Alive and Amplified”
For work I use an old-style Phone ringer
I like to know who is calling before I pick up, as I use my cell for work and personal use.
I Slept Terribly Last Night
My wife and I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in what seems like ages, but it lets her see a great number of movies!
Last night, for example I fell asleep while we were watching Final Destination 3 (which should be subtitled, “this time we gross you the hell out”) she went on to watch a couple more movies (possibly District 13, I don’t know when I woke up again at 2 AM she was wathcing VH1)
She has been getting up in the night and doing aerobics and weights, I can’t say I disapprove as she would be up anyway, and she really wants to get into shape.
I’m going to remind myself of a funny story from work today, by making the cryptic reference to Dilbert and finger flicking being as productive as anything else at some points.
